describing the most savace and vicious of the barbarian tribes

Once a sub-clan of the Rhiconicfhearchaorusduadh, these people are now their most feared and deadly rivals. The Rhiconicfhearchaorusduadh claim to hold them in contempt because of their departure from ancient and traditional ways. Among the Coiremhiconicfhearchaorusduadh, office is held by gift of the chief. The Chief is the Chief because he is the person who killed the last Chief. If the Chief dies without an obvious killer, warriors may fight for the post in a league system, supervised by a council of elders. Elders become elders by success in war.

Property seized in battle from other tribes is held by the individual, and may be passed on through the male line; a substantial amount of wealth is still held 'by the clan'. Offenders against the clan are publicly executed, and their property passes to the clan. Women are the property of men; large harems are a sign of wealth. Offences are primarily of theft (including theft of women), blood feud, and disobeying military orders.

There are many small clans of this people, and much internecine strife, but all at present co-operate well in battle.
