They told you Gaza was fine. They lied. And those who chose to believe it allowed the truth to be buried beneath the rubble of silence.
Please don't tell us that Gaza is "still bleeding." We have never stopped bleeding. Our blood still runs through the streets, and the tents of displaced families are still burning around us, while the world keeps turning its face away.
The truth too many refuse to face is that Gaza has reached its final breath—the thin line between life and death. An entire people are being slaughtered before the eyes of the world, while their suffering fades into just another forgotten headline.
If you want to look away, close your eyes. Turn your face. But know this: you will never escape the silent reproach in the eyes of innocent people being killed while they wait for humanity to remember what humanity means.
